This is one of the most spectacular (and underrated) green-season combos in Botswana: the vast, open fossil landscapes of the Central Kalahari with its black-maned lions and cheetahs, followed by the dramatic zebra & wildebeest migration on the Boteti River in Makgadikgadi Pans National Park — up to 30,000 zebras and thousands of wildebeest moving in January–March.

Day 1: Maun → Central Kalahari Game Reserve (Deception Valley area) 07:30am
